American Express credit cards

MBNA have introduced two new credit cards in conjunction with bmi. Both groups have agreed on a new deal to supply credit cards for London Heathrow’s biggest airline.

The credit cards offer an economical rate of interest including travel rewards, which can be redeemed beside flights when flying with bmi.

The American Express Credit Card from MBNA, includes 1.5 destinations miles for every £1 spent via the credit card, also a new Card member has the chance to earn 20,000 bonus destinations miles after they spend £250 on their credit card within 90 days of account opening. This credit card offers a 0 per cent p.a. on all balance transfers for the first 12 months only, however a 3% handling fee is involved. As soon as the introductory period is over, the credit card will slip back to a typical rate of 15.9% APR.

Chief executive at bmi, Nigel Turner commented: "We're always working to offer our customers quality products and services. Through our partnership with MBNA we have been able to ensure our customers can take advantage of a generous, market-leading credit card."
