Check your credit card benefits

Recent research for the UK highlights that the are around 52 per cent of the people who are holding on to a credit card that really does not offer them any major perks. In terms of figures this works out to over 20 million credit card holders. The research announced by Goldfish says many of those people are not getting benefits such as travel miles or even balance transfer offers.

According to Charlotte Hogg, managing director for the Goldfish credit card she said “credit card holders need to demand more from their plastic," She also added further, "If customers hold a card that doesn't reward their spending then they should investigate what other cards might be better suited to their spending patterns.

The research also showed that of those that did get some benefits, it included items such as rewards schemes, cash back and air miles. Many of Goldfishes customers are currently using their credit card to make everyday purchases as they can gain rewards for their regular purchases.
