Credit card holders compare the best deals online

A vast majority of credit card holders are searching for the best possible deals everyday. An investigation carried out by the Global Reviews revealed that card users prefer to compare, research, and manage their credit card accounts online.

Global Reviews results showed that 78% of credit card customers said that they use the Internet to source credit card deals. 11% visit their local branch for credit card quires and the remaining 2% use a telephone.

Director from Global Reviews, Adam Goodvach commented: "With so many customers going online, providers wanting to attract these customers need to make sure that their website offers the information customers are looking for. All the online applications we looked at could be significantly improved. There is a lot more that providers can be doing to make it easier for their customers online."

Figures indicated that Lloyds TSB offered the best overall credit card deals online, with a record level of 61%, followed laid Egg at 53%, and HSBC with 49%.
