Fast credit card payments strike London
16/08/2007
Figures proved that at least one in
five credit cards throughout the UK is a Barclaycard.
For small items, consumer can now pay for this without having
to waste huge amounts of time; it is just like a credit
card.
Barclaycard has introduced this new service into the super store
Krispy Kreme. They will be the first company to take on the Barclaycard
OnePulse showing people that customers can pay for an item without
the need of punching a pin number or signing, however the item
must be under the value of £10.
Elizabeth Chambers, chief marketing officer at Barclaycard states
that cashless payments are becoming reality.
"A fantastic way to streamline your day - no more waiting in
queues to pay for small ticket items. And the OnePulse card works
just like a regular credit
card for larger purchases, too," she
stated.
Results proven by the financial services company shows that other
foremost retailers are jumping to join the new scheme. Many businesses
are stunned by the new process and feel this will boost sales
highly.
Majority of purchases are scheduled on the consumer's credit
card statement, a cardholder must only connect a card towards
a reader when they pay for goods, which are not of a high value.
