Halifax launches a new credit card deal

A new credit card deal from the Halifax will be on offer to both new and existing customers which was announced by one of the UK’s largest banks. The Halifax is offering a bonus month of interest free credit on both purchases and on balance transfers. This deal will offer customers an extra month of interest free period on the Halifax credit card.

"It's a fantastic offer which could save our customers hundreds of pounds in interest payments," said Ken Stannard, head of Halifax Card Services. He added that the Halifax was delighted to offer this special deal to its customers.

This credit card deal with the Halifax is for a period of eleven months where customers can take advantage of the interest free period.  

This will come as great news to many credit card users in the UK who have mounting debts with the current credit crunch. It will also come as welcoming news to those consumers who want to make that purchase, but having been putting it off due to high interest rates and an increased cost of living.
