Today it has been claimed that Halifax’s new credit card features a zero per cent offer. Halifax wants people to take advantage of this great deal.

The Zero per cent ‘One Card’ on purchases and both balance transfers for the first nine months will be beneficial to new customers.

Halifax have introduced the new credit card deal and expect cardholders to enjoy a six month, zero per cent rate on balance transfers starting from June 01st 2007.

Halifax’s credit card’s great advantage is the 13.9 per cent APR interest rate, alongside the high security when customers decide to use their credit card online.

If customers took on this great deal, Halifax feel up to £58 can be saved from this ‘One Card’ deal.

Head of credit cards, Ken Stannard stated that the group had responded to customer satisfactions and they should be rewarded in some way for their generosity.

Mr Stannard said the Halifax credit card was a "great up-front deal, “which in terms” rewarded (customers) a year on".
